DiSanti Farms

Sara DiSanti

Sara Genova is a 6th generation farmer and is the daughter of DiSanti Farm’s Roseann and Jim. Her primary responsibilities include selling their products to local stores in addition to marketing, project management and food safety management. The DiSanti family started farming in Pueblo, CO in 1890, just a few miles from the current headquarters on the St. Charles Mesa. Cultivating sugar beets and fresh produce started this family’s tradition on the St. Charles Mesa. The operation is currently owned and operated by Jim, RoseAnn, Sara and their family. At this time, the DiSanti family produces over two dozen types of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as other commodity crops, on the fertile irrigated land of Pueblo County. Their leading products are Pueblo Chiles, green onions, and pumpkins. Their operation has an on-farm stand, and services wholesalers and distributors throughout the state.
