We are excited to announce the Choose Colorado Pop-Up Picnics!
Colorado Proud begins another summer on the road to celebrate Colorado produce, farmers and growers, but this year Colorado Proud refreshing the six-century-old, historical picnic with a new, “local” approach. We are popping up picnics at local community events, festivals, concerts, grocery stores and farmers’ markets across the Front Range and Western Slope while educating consumers along the journey.
The “Choose Colorado Pop-Up Picnics” is a summer-long series of farm-fresh, modern picnics celebrating locally-grown produce, starting May 16 and running through September 5. Colorado Proud will be attending 19 events encourage consumers to buy and eat local produce.
